5 months agoI’m really disappointed with this restaurant. How can a simple sports shake cost $5? And then they charge $38 for a plate of fritay with goat meat and the portion is small! You end up paying more money and getting less food On top of that, I had to wait over an hour for my order. That’s not fair at all Haitian food is amazing, but it has become one of the most expensive types of food to buy in America, and it shouldn’t be like that. The prices here are getting out of control. I can’t believe I paid $38 for that plate. Definitely not worth the price

5 months agoI was disappointed with my recent experience at Paradise Cafeteria. I ordered a sports shake and was charged $5, which felt very unfair for what I received. The price didn’t match the portion or the quality, and it wasn’t communicated clearly beforehand. I usually enjoy Haitian food and wanted to support the business, but this really left a bad impression. I hope they improve their pricing transparency and customer service moving forward.

9 months agoHorrendous service. Stood there at the sign where it says order here during lunch. Everyone was skipping me and go to the cashier ordering the food. When I went to go order lady couldn’t understand me even when I was pointing at the food I wanted. She rolled her eyes at me and decided to leave me hanging to take another persons order. I understand there’s a language barrier but at least make an attempt to serve your customers. Big waste of my time

a year agoI was really disappointed with my recent order. I paid $19 and received one single plantain, just a few pieces of griot, and the rest of the plate was stuffed with lettuce. That’s not only underwhelming—it’s unacceptable. For the price, I expected a proper portion of food, not a plate filled with cheap filler. Definitely not worth the money, and I won’t be ordering again unless the quality and quantity improve.

a year agoI eat here whenever I am in the area and have zero complaints about the service or the food. It exceeds my expectations every-time and wont break the bank. They serve sizable portions and its worth the money. My favorite resy in the area.

2 years agoOver priced food for less quality. I had to ask the lady for more meat being that I just got a small to go, she wanted to add sauce and peppers. Got charged $10.00 for a small container with 4 pieces of meat. NEVER AGAIN. She acted like she didn't want to get my order. Would not recommend to anyone

2 years agoIf you don't speak Creole DON'T GO IN THERE! They make up prices and the act like they can't speak English! They charged me $24.00 for two small plates of white rice and and sauce proix(bean gravy)!! I'm pissed and will tell everybody that I know. Such a shame!!!!! CROOKS!

Edited 2 months agoInconsistent portion sizes for the price. I’m not happy when I buy a meal they always give a little bit of food. Now they put the legume together instead on the size when I ordered before it was on the side with a good amount. Y’all won’t be getting my money.
